Dialogue
Symphasia Rai: Yes, may I help you?
Sleeper: Who are you?
Symphasia Rai: Were you born under the rock? My two-year residency at the Crystal Terrace on Kaitain is the stuff off legend.
Sleeper: Sorry, what is your name?
Symphasia Rai: Symphasia Rai and the Dulcet Tones, come on!
[Next] Symphasia Rai: I am the number one most-requested singer on Atreides radio, an I'm told my Hello Boys Hologram flickers above every bunk in the Dunemen fleet.
Sleeper: Do you work here?
Symphasia Rai: I perform here is that is what you are asking.
[Next] Symphasia Rai: I am currently in an exclusive engagement as the headliner here at the Salusan Bull.
[Next] Symphasia Rai: When I can wrestle the stage away from Gurney Hallec, that is.
Sleeper: Can I buy you a drink?
Symphasia Rai: If I took a drink from every starstruck walk-up, I could open my own bar.
[Next] Symphasia Rai: Actually, I like that idea-Syphasia's Place, Hopefully, I would attract a better class of customers.
Sleeper: Does your singing raise troops morale?
Symphasia Rai: That's what they tell me, but I'm not sure anymore.
[Next] Symphasia Rai: The truth is, the Atreides are loosing the war, and they know it. Morale is low.
Sleeper: Are they loosing the war?
Symphasia Rai: ofcourse they are. War is all about economics, and the Baron easily outpaces the Duke on that count.
[Next] Symphasia Rai: I hear Lady Jessica is on a grand tour of the few remaining Atreides assets and liquidating whenever possible.
[Next] Symphasia Rai: At the same time, the Harkonnen prepare to unveil Neo Carthag, a monument to luxury and excess.
Sleeper: Maybe you should be playing for the Harkonnen?
Symphasia Rai: Don't be redicilous. I am only pointing out the obvious. One cannot win a war if one cannot pay his troops.
Sleeper: Goodbye.
