Orilis Io: Are you from the Planetologist Office? I am getting rather annoyed.
Player:

1. No, ma'am, I was hoping you could answer a question. 2. Do I look like I'm from the Planetologist Office?
Orilis Io: [1][2] Wait, I can't hear you at all. Allow me to engage my enhanced hearing. Only thing the bloody Tleilaxu are good for. There. Now, tell me again, are you from the Planetologist Office? My grandson, Cyprian, is the Imperial Planetologist here.
Player:

1. You must be very proud.
Orilis Io: Of course I am. The boy made Planetologist at twenty-five. Cyprian is bound for great things. Cyprion's Great Uncle, Shaddam, thinks very highly of his young nephew.
Player: His Great Uncle Shaddam? As in Emperor Shaddam Corrino?
Orilis Io: Who else, you silly fool? Are you from the Planetologist Office?

2. He must be very knowledgeable.
Orilis Io: Certainly, he is knowledgeable. Young Cyprian was courted by all the best institutions.
Player: There must have been a lot of difficult science and mathematics to learn.
Orilis Io: I don't know anything about that. Certainly, our financial endowments were sizeable enough to ensure all the best degrees.
Player:

1. But does he have the expertise to perform as an Imperial Planetologist?
Orilis Io: What expertise do you speak of? Cyprian has the expertise to surround himself with subordinates who can do whatever needs to be done. It's what subordinates are for.
Player: That doesn't seem right.
Orilis Io: How so? It seems perfectly right to me. Cyprian was bred from birth to lead. Why should he be hampered by trivialities such as a lack of expertise.

2. [Honorable] It seems one can buy an education without learning anything.
Orilis Io: You miss the point, dear...whatever you are. If you have the means to buy an education, then you don't actually need one. Look at my Grandson, Cyprian Io. He is the Imperial Planetologist here and has no expertise beyond his ability to fill the uniform.
Player: That doesn't seem right.
Orilis Io: How so? It seems perfectly right to me. Cyprian was bred from birth to lead. Why should he be hampered by trivialities such as a lack of expertise.

3. You nobles think you can buy anything.
Orilis Io: Of course, we can. There is not a thing that has ever existed that could not be bought or sold.
Player: Integrity...Respect...Accomplishment?
Orilis Io: Useless. Respect is a currency for poor people that have nothing better to give one another. And integrity. What can integrity buy? The universe is littered with poor but respected folk of great integrity and accomplishment. They are called pyons.

4. Goodbye.

3. As I said earlier, I wanted to ask you a question.
Orilis Io: Who are you? Are you from the Planetologist Office? My grandson, Cyprian, is the Imperial Planetologist here.
Player: You already said that.
Orilis Io: Well, you should bloody-well know him if you are from the Imperial Planetologist office.
Player: I'm not and I never said that I was.
Orilis Io: Then why are we speaking?
Player: Goodbye.

4. Tell me about your grandson, Cyprian.
Orilis Io: He is the Imperial Planetologist here on Arrakis.
Player: So you've said.
Orilis Io: Are you from his office? I must know if he has made time for his correspondance.
Player: His correspondance?
Orilis Io: His love letters, you fool. We've been over this before.
Player: 1. We have? 2. First I've heard about any love letters.
Orilis Io: [1][2] How else is he supposed to woo the Atreides girl? The boy can barely write his name. As discussed previously, we three have authored the letters, and it is up to Cyprian to 'personalize' and sign them. A small task, even for him. The Atreides girl will not be able to resist.
Player: You three? Wrote your grandson's love letters to Ariste Atreides?
Orilis Io: Yes, yes. Has he signed them?
Player: I'll have to go check...

5. Goodbye.

3. Goodbye.
