Dialogue
Upon reaching Harko Village and meeting Asmara Efendi for the first time.
Asmara Efendi:
"I've not seen you before. Pray, what can you want from me?"
Player:
1. "I'm here to trade." (opens trade menu)
2. "Are you Fremen?"
3. "Goodbye."
Upon leaving and interacting with Asmara after first interaction.
Asmara Efendi: "Still alive, are you?"
Again the player is prompted with the same three responses as from the first interaction.
Player:
"Are you Fremen?"
Asmara Efendi:
"If you are asking where my allegiance lies, my sisters and brothers are Smugglers. I am with them."
Player:
"Where are the Fremen?"
Asmara Efendi:
"Who can say? Perhaps they are in the sand. Perhaps not. Some say they will return, with a storm."
When asking Asmara as about becoming a smuggler.
Player:
"How does one become a Smuggler?"
Asmara Efendi:
"By being reliable. By being more than a common thief such as Einar over there."
Player:
"The spice prospector?"
Asmara EFendi:
"Not the word I would use for that thieving addict. But yes, the spice prospector. Be wary of that one."
Lore
Asmara Efendi is a weapons merchant found in Harko Village in the alleys just east of The Baron's Eye. Her eyes have a slight tinge of blue, possibly from spending time on Arrakis and being exposed to spice.
The player mistakes her for being Fremen, to which she corrects them in saying her allegiance is to the Smugglers. But when the players presses her about the whereabouts of the Fremen she acts very indifferent, but she does have some foreboding words saying there are others that believe the Fremen will return and bring their rage with them. There's no proof to whether these are her own thoughts, or stories that have been passed around by customers through her endeavors.
