Water Shippers
The Water Shippers Guild is composed of a group of rich, mercantile families.
Lore
The Water Shippers Guild sells water obtained by breaking down ice fields and asteroids in the polar regions of Arrakis. Water Shipper distribute and sell water across the planet, reaping massive profits. Also they operate their own type of ornithopters.
Testing Station 197

Based on a recording found in Testing Station 197, a Water Shipping Guild exec, Orin Rhazen, tried to impress his bosses by reducing expenses - by hiring fewer guards for his ice shipment from the Polar Cap.
As a result, the Kirab overwhelmed the guards and hijacked this shipment. Orin hired mercenaries to punish the Kirab and recover any water they could. One of the mercenaries learned of Orin's plan to save on expenses from a grunt working for the Guild. Note: there are CHOAM troopers guarding the entrance to the testing station, which attack the player - they are likely the hired mercenaries.
This ice shipment appears at the bottom of the testing station. The water storage equipment (cisterns) left from the boring, which occurred when the station was operational, is being used to contain water produced from the ice.
