The Carrier Ornithopter is a massive aerial vehicle, designed to harness and transport other vehicles such as the Buggy, Sandcrawler, or smaller Ornithopters. A special Cargo Container module also allows for particularly massive hauls.
It can carry its harnessed payload across the Overland Map between Regions and Settlements.
Modules
The Carrier Ornithopter has 1 optional module available:
- Thruster - increases speed at the risk of overheating the engine.
The Carrier Ornithopter has 2 Unique modules available:
- Roc Wing - allows for further gliding with less altitude loss.
- Steady Boost Module - provides a steady, longer boost but at a lower maximum speed.
The harnessable Cargo Container module is functionally a separate "vehicle". It is placed using the Welding Torch and counts toward your maximum vehicle limit.
