Version 1.3

Version 1.3 was released on 3 February 2026 as the second major content update for Dune: Awakening.

This update was shaped by the two most common player requests: the desire for a more fleshed out endgame and a smoother experience coming back after an extended period away from the game.

Several features were already introduced in previous patches to make it easier to take a break and return later:

• Increased Bank Storage
• Carrier Ornithopter Cargo Container
• Base Reconstruction Tool
• Character Transfers

Chapter 3 contained two additional improvements in this regard:

• No more Taxes!
• Custom Return Packages every time players return after a break of longer than 28 days.

Chapter 3 Free Update

All players received a free content update to the game, heavily feature a revamped endgame loop:

• Landsraad Revamp
• Increased max Faction Rank to 20
• New Specialization system to progress down 5 different traits
• 10 new Overland Locations (all are both solo and co-op-friendly)
  • 5 Challenge Locations
  • 5 Testing Stations with scalable difficulty
• New Augmentation system to upgrade and customize equipment
• Chapter 3 of the main story
• New Weapons
  • Dual-wielded knives
  • Pyrocket
• Rapier rework
• 4 Smuggler Vehicle skins

Raiders of the Broken Lands DLC Pack

Version 1.3 launched alongside Raiders of the Broken Lands, an optional content pack accessible to Season Pass owners or players who purchased the DLC separately.

The pack includes:

• Smuggler-themed Building Pieces and Decorations
• Weapon and Armor Skins
• Raider Buggy Skin
• Smuggler Cosmetic Swatch
• New Emotes
