Purpose / Ethos

House Dragunov is a prestige-driven guild rooted in strategy, survival, and solidarity with a touch of light RP. While we welcome both PvE and PvP players, we lean slightly toward PvE-focused gameplay— building powerful supply lines, organizing trade, creating strongholds, and mastering the economy of Arrakis. However, make no mistake— when conflict comes to our gates, we will fight with pride.

We aren’t just another faction clawing for "desert domination"— we’re a community focused on curating a unique experience in the game. We were founded on one simple idea: games are meant to be fun. Whether you're a fresh recruit wandering the dunes or a hardened veteran, there's a place for you in House Dragunov. We don’t demand perfection or gatekeep. We uplift and support one another, helping each other when needed. House Dragunov has a rich identity rooted in structure, loyalty, and a little Harkonnen-inspired flair— with none of the toxicity you see in most gaming communities. While we play hard when it matters, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. This is a community where you can joke, chill, die, and respawn laughing.

Recruitment Process

We encourage new recruits to join our Discord server, so they can see if what we offer is up their alley! Our process for recruitment is simple: once you join the Discord, fill out a short 4 question form and gain access to the community. We accept everyone, and our only criteria for being a part of our community is that you are nontoxic and an adult! :)



Ranks/Hierarchy

Archon - The sovereign head of House Dragunov. Commands ultimate authority over all house affairs—political, military, and logistical. The Archon is both strategist and symbol, embodying the house’s values of order, strength, and community. Their word shapes the future of the house.

Na-Archon - Trusted second-in-command and co-founder. The Na-Archon acts with near-equal authority, ensuring the Archon’s vision is executed across all fronts. When the Archon is absent, the Na-Archon speaks with their voice.

Viziers - The Archon’s closest advisors. They handle diplomatic affairs, guild policy, external negotiations, and inter-house relations. Think: political officers and master planners.

Wardens - Senior officers who manage specific divisions (gathering, trade, mapping, etc.). Trusted lieutenants who enforce discipline and ensure operations run smoothly.

Sentinels - Veteran members entrusted with leading smaller missions or helping new recruits. Backbone of the house’s daily functions.

Vassals - Official members of House Dragunov. Contribute to resource ops, defense, convoy work, or political missions.

Initiates - Fresh faces to the house. In a trial period to prove loyalty, skill, or dedication before being fully integrated as Vassals.

Leadership

Born beneath the choking skies of Giedi Prime, Ilya Dragunov was shaped by a world where survival came not from strength alone, but from precision, discipline, and wit. Among the polluted spires and toxic refineries of that Harkonnen-held hellscape, she learned early that emotion was a weakness and impulse, a death sentence. Daughter of a minor bureaucrat and spice broker, Ilya grew up navigating corridors where secrets were traded more often than coin. She learned to listen before acting, to calculate before striking. By seventeen, she had dismantled a rival’s smuggling network without spilling a drop of blood— merely by turning their allies against them with good communication and well-placed rumors. Her mind became her blade, and her calm, unflinching demeanor became the hallmark of her leadership. While others postured and provoked, Ilya outmaneuvered. Where others demanded loyalty through fear, she earned it through competence and trust. It was this quiet power that drew the eye of greater houses—and in time, she rose to command her own: House Dragunov.


Though he shares Giedi Prime’s brutal legacy with Archon Ilya, Na-Archon Varek brings a different kind of power to House Dragunov. Where Ilya is cold and precise, Varek is charismatic, sharp-witted, and disarmingly blunt— a battlefield tactician with a silver tongue and a taste for theatrics. He thrives in negotiation halls as easily as in blood-soaked dunes, often acting as the house’s voice when diplomacy calls for charm over calculation. Beneath his confident exterior lies a fiercely loyal mind, always three moves ahead, always watching Ilya’s back— not from below her, but beside her. To House Dragunov, Varek is the blade that smiles, the storm behind the still water.

Guild Lore

House Dragunov is a prestigious and strategically minded noble house, renowned across Arrakis for its resource gathering and transport, along with it's desert logistics. With deep roots in trade, infrastructure, and political maneuvering, Dragunov operates more like a powerful syndicate than a warband— balancing calculated diplomacy with cold efficiency. Their operations are legendary: well-guarded, meticulously organized, and essential to the flow of spice and resources throughout the region.

Due to it's founding members being of Harkonnen blood, House Dragunov is somewhat aligned with the Baron’s interests— their loyalty born of shared ambition and mutual benefit. This alliance lends their internal structure a harsh edge due to influence from Harkonnen culture: rigid command with intense meritocracy, tempered only by their emphasis on unity and strategic foresight. Despite their seemingly cold and calculated methods, House Dragunov's members are extremely close-knit, and the teamwork resulting from their interconnectedness are one of the keys to their success. To join them is to be part of a machine built not just for war, but for power—and survival.
