Recruitment Process
Our requirements are standard to any hardcore guild, along with an interview process to allow for questions and to get to know your leaders/members.
- Competitive PvP Experience (MMO, FPS, Survival Game, TPS, etc.)
- 18+ with working mic
- No ego, built to improve
- NA specific, willing to pick up EU (must be fluent in English)
- Willing to put in time long term
- Guild first mentality, be willing to help your fellow members
Ranks/Hierarchy
We have a simple Hierarchy of roles.
Leaders/Co Leaders: Our leaders have changed over the years and have always kept the same message: Be the best guild in the right way. Our leadership has well over 10,000+ hours competitive FPS, MMO, and Survival game experience and are willing to build up players and provide them the info and resources to succeed.
Officers: Our officers are people we trust the most to handle business and the roles of the leaders while the leaders are not available. They also are held to a higher standard and have been given essential knowledge to help improve members and create a solid foundation for our moderation and higher up team.
Montra TH: TH stands for Tryhard, which is where most of our members will be. We prioritize tryhard players who want to grind and succeed across the board in all activities. But we do want to involve all types of players into this guild and Montra TH is where the foundation of that grows.
Montra: This is our default role for casual and inactive members and is a place for casual players who want to learn the game and enjoy the game at there own pace in a guild setting. We want to include every player as we believe community is what makes games enjoyable and without people who prioritize fun, we lose the true goal of this game, to enjoy ourselves.
Leadership
Our leadership back in 2016 was originally many different leaders across multiple games. Shin being a founding member as the youngest leader at the time (15 years old, now 24) was the leader of our MCFactions clan and has been involved in the Rust side and New World side of the guilds as a helper. Zensu and other leaders joined into this project after Dune Awakening was nearing launch and are prioritizing rebuilding the once great name of Montra.
Guild Lore
You may be asking, isnt Montra spelled wrong? Yes. And the reason why was because in MCFactions, faction name stealing was prominent and Mantra was stolen at a consistent rate. This version pays homage to the name stealing and allows us to enjoy a little inside joke about our guilds foundation.
