Inventory
Inventory systems are defined as systems that are included in games so that the player can store items they collect during play, and can be presented in many different ways.
They can be large, spanning multiple rows, columns and pages. They can also be small.
Inventory in game
There are many forms of an inventory in Dune Awakening, for instance a player/character inventory and a base storage/inventory and vehicle storage/inventory.
Your player/character Inventory in Dune Awakening will essentially be your backpack, from here you can also link inventory items to a number of hot bar slots.
There is no weight system in the game, instead Volume is the limiting factor. As mentioned by Joel, the Creative Director, in a universe where suspensors are so prevalent that they are used to float light bulbs, weight stops being an issue in logistics.
Pressing F activates a quick deposit, so any stacks of items in your backpack that match the container's storage will be automatically deposited. This was implemented following Closed Beta tester feedback.
